Prim'X TechnologiesMobiz guarantees the security of all data on PDAs and Smartphones through encryption, which consequently protects the contents of these devices against theft or loss. All this remains entirely transparent to users, who are also able to received encrypted email.
All mobile terminal data is encrypted, including the address book, agenda, mailboxes, etc., as well as the contents of the storage card and any other storage media. The information is automatically decrypted on-the-fly, in real time, the moment it is used.
Mobiz uses Zed! secure container encryption/ decryption technology. This means users can read encrypted messages whether they use their mobile terminal or their PC protected by the Prim'X solution.
When the device is activated, the user is authenticated by either a password or a certificate, whichever the company prefers.
The user's key (certificate) can be stored in an SD Card Crypto that guarantees a level of protection equal to that of tokens and smartcards.
Mobiz has absolutely no effect on the way the device operates. Once the user is authenticated, encryption/decryption is automatic and transparent. No intervention is necessary.
A recovery plan can be configured by the company. It will be automatically and systematically applied by the product to enable the Security Officer to recover data.
Mobiz is installed, deployed, and administered using the usual administration services and tools for mobile terminal pools.
